Surgical procedure: was advised a socket bone graft with delayed implant placement as the tooth was very wide and the periapical infection too differed immediate implant placement.

The tooth was gently extracted, the socket curetted thoroughly with a buck file.
The socket was filled with Microchips.
The wound was closed with 3-0 cytoplast sutures and a resorbable collagen.

A 5/11.5 dm implant was inserted at 50 ncm.
