SmartBone® got the CE mark for Orthopaedics!

Mezzovico-Vira, 19 May 2020 – SmartBone®, the innovative bone substitute by Industrie Biomediche Insubri SA (IBI SA), obtained the CE/EC marking for orthopaedic applications.

After months of hard-working the efforts of the whole company have been rewarded: IBI SA obtained the CE marking on SmartBone® for Orthopaedics by Notified Body BSI.­­­­

This confirms that SmartBone® as a medical device and its manufacturing process are fully compliant with all health and safety related quality assurance essential requirements for being put into the European area market for the orthopaedic applications!
